Centralized Procurement and Rate Contract System (CPRCS), a landmark initiative by the Department of Electronics & Information Technology to promote transparency and efficiency throughout the procurement process within Departments under Government of Kerala (G.O.(Ms.)24-2017-ITD), is an end-to-end online Marketplace for Kerala State Government Ministries / Departments. It acts as a single point of contact for the procurement of commonly required IT products like Desktops, Laptops, Printers and Scanners. It supports all the activities like order placing, tracking, delivery, installation and warranty support of IT products to be procured through Six major modules namely Requirement Analysis, Online Order Registration, IT Asset Registry and Digital Asset tracking tool, Installation Certificate, Complaint Management system / Issue tracker System and SLA and Penalty calculation. It is a completely secure platform and all the relevant documents are digitally signed at various stages by the buyers and sellers. The purchases through CPRCS will be authorized by KELTRON under the administrative control of Kerala State IT Mission. Being a technology driven platform, CPRCS has the functionality or potential to drive and monitor compliance of Government Policies towards promotion of various domestic manufacturers involved in centralized public procurement.
