To ensure Fast, Reliable, Instant, Efficient Network for Disbursement of Services to the Citizens, Government of Kerala with the help of KSITM established FRIENDS Janasevana Kendram on 3rd March 2000 vide G.O.(MS.)4-2000-ITD. The center functions as a one stop, IT integrated front-end payment counter facility to Citizens that enables them to remit all kinds of Government payments in the State. Being a flagship e-Governance project of the Government of Kerala, FRIENDS centers are now operational in all districts of Kerala.
