Kerala Government Payment Gateway

Government has taken measure for the deployment of State Portal (SP) and State Service Delivery Gateway (SSDG) in order to ensure the delivery of services to the citizens effectively and quickly. State Portal, SSDG aims at providing various Government services to the citizens near their doorsteps in electronic form. Many services offered by States under SP are transactional in nature and require fees to be paid by the citizen for availing the services. Therefore integration e-Payment services with the state portal is required for enabling e-Payment will further facilitate the adoption of e-Governance and online request for Government services fulfilling the vision of NeGP and government has taken measure to setup e-payment gateway for all departments via G.O.(Rt.)273-2008-ITD. Under this circumstances DeitY, Government of India has set up payment gateway facilities for services offered by State Government or its departments through their respective portal. These payment facilities will enable any citizen/common service centre (CSC) / entity to make payments to DlT / State Government/ Government of India and respective Government Departments/ entities for services offered through the state / National portals or any other e-Payment initiatives/ channel, using either e-Card account or by debit to a designated bank account. Payment Gateway will enable transactions for all public / private banks in India through a) Credit Cards b) Debit Cards c) Online Banking or d) Cash. The service charges details per transaction is available vide  G.O.(Ms)19-2013-ITD .

e-Treasury

In addition to the conventional mode of payment, Treasury Department, Government of Kerala, has also decided to setup Online Receipt Accounting System (e-treasury) vide G.O.(P)310/2014/Fin, dated 30.07.2014. For this, an ePayment Gateway for Government Receipts i.e., e-payment portal, is made operational, w.e.f 1st August 2014. The acceptance of online payment of Kerala State's Taxes through this internet portals of various banks have been developed, without having any implication on the existing procedure of the Department.

  • On-Line filling of single challan form facilitates.

  • Instant online receipts for payment made and online banks transaction number becomes available.

  • One can pay personal taxes as well as behalf of the firm, company* and others.

The procedures for refund claims in respect of challan remittance made through e-treasury is issued vide G.O.(P)307/2015/Fin., dated 22.07.2015.
